Finess Hygiene and ABENA make a major investment in the factory in Kisa

The process began in April 2021 – Now it is finalized that Finess Hygiene and ABENA invests over 25 million SEK in a new converting machine for wash cloths in Finess factory in Kisa.

”This is by far the biggest investment ABENA has made in Finess Hygiene. The new converting machine gives us the possibility to advance and to be more competitive” says Fredric Moe, CEO of Finess. “We will have a more modern factory, which also enables better ergonomic conditions for our production staff.”

The converting machine will have a fully automatic process, from raw material to finished product, which means that we can increase our capacity and production significantly on our largest product group, wash cloths.

Finess is one of Northern Europe's largest manufacturers of wash cloths and today this product group accounts for more than 50% of our production volume and sales. The goal with the new machine is for us to reach more customers and to take more market shares.

Tentatively, the new machine will stand ready in autumn 2024.
